These do not need a separate appointment. They are part of what a kidney specialist watches at every follow-up.

Electrolyte Abnormalities: Abnormal sodium, potassium, bicarbonate, acid-base, or fluid balance can affect the whole body. We evaluate kidney function, medications, diet, hormones, and fluid status to guide safe, understandable treatment plans.
Anemia: Kidney-related anemia can affect energy, stamina, concentration, and quality of life. We evaluate iron levels, inflammation, CKD stage, blood counts, and other contributing factors to support better function and symptom control.
Mineral Bone Disease: Changes in calcium, phosphorus, vitamin D, and parathyroid hormone can weaken bones and blood vessels over time. We monitor these patterns closely and treat them early to protect long-term bone health.
